9 Valuable Life Lessons to Learn From Disney. . .

So much wisdom and life lessons are stored in Disney stories that adapting even a few will do much good.

Be it Disney movies, Disney cartoons or the characters, Disney has a lot to teach. If we look carefully, there are lots of deep thoughts and life lessons to be learnt from Disney. Only if we adults understand and embrace few thoughts out of these, our way of living would change for better. Here are few valuable lessons that we can learn from Disney:

  1. Finding Nemo
When life gets you down, there’s nothing better to do than just keep swimming. A little determination goes a long way. As Dory said, “When life gets you down, you know what you gotta do? Just keep swimming.”
  2. Peter Pan
Getting older is inevitable, but growing up is a choice. Embrace your inner child no matter what age you are. According to Peter Pan, life needs only a few things, “All you need is faith, trust, and a little pixie dust”
  3. Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mouse has a lot to teach. Few wise words by Mickey Mouse are “If good you give, hope for better, and when better is achieved, hope for extraordinary”; “No matter how difficult a situation we are in, we must never give up”; “It is not about the people who act true to your face. It’s about the people who remain true behind your back.”
  4. Frozen
As Anna said “Love is an open door. Life can be so much more with you.”
  5. Pooh, The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Pooh and his gang has so much to teach like “We might find something that we weren’t looking for, which might be just what we were looking for, really” and “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.”
  6. Kermit, The Muppets
The power of self-belief is beautifully explained, “I don’t care what anybody says, and I don’t care if no one believes in us, because I believe.”
  7. The Lion King
As Mufasa says,”Look inside yourself. You are more than what you have become” and by Rafiki, “Yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, is that you can either run from it or learn from it.”
  8. White Queen, Alice in Wonderland
This indeed is very much applicable in today’s life “You cannot live your life to please others. The choice must be yours.”
  9. Cinderella
Cinderella’s take on love is very beautiful, “Love can make miracles, change everything, lift you from darkness and make your heart sing.”
