A lower batting order of Gujarat Lions has always remained an area of major concern for the entire team with all-rounder batsmen named James Faulkner, Dwayne Bravo, and Ravindra Jadeja, for whom the activity of batting is relatively a weaker suit.
In this case, Kishan, an 18-year old batsman and a wicket-keeper, who remains on the fringe of Gujarat Lions team would choose to bat in the lower order and might prove to be a critical player for his entire team. Kishan debuted IPL during the previous season via 2016 auction for 32 lakhs from Gujarat Lions owners. Before this, he dealt with the captain ship of India during the Under 19 World Cup.
- Rahul Chahar of Rising Pune Supergiants
Rahul Chahar is a promising leg spinner who is from Rajasthan and is the younger brother of Deepak Chahar, who plays as a pacer or fast bowler in IPL and is known for picking up 8 wickets by conceding only 10 runs. Rahul Chahar has undergone steady progress via different levels for his team before joining IPL in Rajasthan and succeeded to create his first-class record in the game.
He debuted for IPL in the present season, i.e. IPL2017 by playing for RPS i.e. Rising Pune Supergiants. For this, Sanjiv Goenka and his group, the owner of RPS auctioned him at the set base price equal to Rs 10 lakhs. In the first season itself, Rahul showed his outstanding performance while playing against Kings XI Punjab on 8th of April in 2017, where he picked the wicket of Hashim Amla.
- Washington Sundar of Rising Pune Supergiants
Washington Sundar has debuted in 2017 IPL for Rising Pune Supergiants on April 22 in 2017 as a replacement for Ravichandran Ashwin. Before this, he debuted for Ranji Trophy in 2016-17 and played for Under 19 Cricket Team of India. He is an off-spinner of the right arm and a left-handed batsman.
- Pradeep Sangwan of Delhi Daredevils
Pradeep Sangwan is one of the medium pace bowlers debuted in IPL for this 2017 by playing for Delhi Daredevils. He was a member of winning Indian team at World Cup Under 19 in 2008 and successfully bowled many incisive spells with his new ball. In total, he took 8 wickets, along with 5-44 spell, which was very much crucial in the victory of India in the group stages against South Africa. Other than this, in his debuted season of Ranji Trophy, he picked 33 wickets with 19.24-average and obtained 122 runs with an average equal to 20.33. He picked 9 wickets during the final played against Uttar Pradesh.
