Shopping can be a rather expensive hobby. Plus with the festive season coming up and the sales being put up everywhere, it is difficult not to indulge yourself in some shopping. After all, shopping is a therapy! But overindulging and over-shopping is definitely not good.
Here are a few tips on how to control you during sales season:

    With all those shopping apps and the browsing and buying being done with a simple swipe, try and not open those apps when you have got nothing better to do. Yes it is very easy to add those cute little things to the cart and simply press “Buy Now” but admit it; you don’t need those right now. You may be satisfied with your purchase but that is very short-lived.
  2. AVOID THE OFFER-YOU-CANT-REFUSE BUY

    With so many deals going on, be it be the flash deals, the deals of the day, the deals of the month or that buy two get one free offer, you are sure to find so many offers you just can’t say no to. Those shoes you always loved were never ever at such a rate. But then you already have so many pairs of shoes. Avoid making such purchases because that stuff will hardly ever be used.
  3. BE PICKY

    Start getting very picky about the purchases. Mainly control that impulse buying. Ask yourself a million questions about whether you really need to buy? Will that purchase make things easier for you? Those questions will evaluate your shopping and you will make better decisions.
  4. CREATE A 30-DAY LIST
