Baking is not everyone’s cup of tea. It needs special expertise to bake.
I have always heard these lines and just because of fear I never tried baking. One day while surfing I got this recipe in which you can prepare a cake that too of Parle G in just 5 minutes. I couldn’t control myself and clicked the link. I came to know it is quite simple. So, I gave it a try and I want you to try this as well. Because it not just super easy to make but also very healthy and tasty. You just can’t stop yourself from eating this every hour. Here is a quick go to the recipe.
Parle G biscuit packet of Rs. 10
A glass full of milk
A tea spoon baking powder
Vanilla Essence ( if you have otherwise you can go without this)
A half bowl of ground sugar
Chocolate or Nutella for the upper layer.
First, all you have to do is to grind the biscuits in the mixer grinder.
Later grind the sugar as well if you don’t have powdered sugar.
Now take a bowl and add powdered biscuits. Gently mix a glass full of milk according to the consistency you need. It has to be little thick.
Now add ground sugar and baking powder as well.
Give all these a good mix and make sure no lumps stay.
If you have vanilla essence add it a tea spoon and if you don’t have it there is no worry as such. Essence is just used for the fragrance and good taste. But as you know Parle G already has a great taste so, you don’t need it actually. If you have it you can use it.
Place this mixture in a bowl and place it inside the microwave oven. There is actually no need to preheat the oven. Just set the limit to 5 minutes and rest. After 5 minutes check the cake by inserting a knife. If the knife comes out clean then your cake is ready. Let it cool now. If not place it again inside and bake accordingly.
You can garnish your cake according to your taste. I like it simple so I just added a layer of Nutella on the top. You can add cherries, gems, chocolates, or anything you like. Cut it and serve with a hot cup of coffee.
So, give it a try and so share your opinions with us. It is very simple and tasty. And next time if someone says baking is not your thing let them eat this cake and their opinion will change for sure. Now share it and don’t forget to call yourselves bakers.
