7 Famous Celebrities Who are Battling Serious Diseases. . .

Being a celebrity is certainly not easy. Even if they’ve got riches, they’re inept to save themselves from diseases, just like us. These celebrities have been open about their serious diseases and have led us to believe that there’s nothing wrong in admitting your health condition and keep fighting it.

  1. Michael Phelps
    Michael Phelps, one of the most successful Olympian in the world is fighting for something called “Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)”. ADHD is a biological, neurological, and genetic disorder which when not treated with stimulant medication can dramatically increase your chances of substance abuse.

    PD is a severe disease which worsens with time and causes a neurological condition, raising difficulties in any type of movements.

    The American singer and actress, Selena have been suffering from “Lupus” since 2015. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that can “affect people in different ways,” Gomez said.
    Lupus creates antibodies that kill healthy tissue, apart from causing inflammation, damage, and pain throughout the body. It causes the immune system to be overactive.
