Trim your nails and apply coats of each colour on each of the nails. Add a little embellishment on each nail to get that elegant glistening look.
- DIY Dots on Nail
Shape and trim your nails. Then apply a coat of any bright shade on your nails, may be white or crimson. Then take a bobby pin, dab it in a coat of nail shade and then apply drops of colour on the nail paint with accuracy and precision.
- Rainbow Nail Art
Colour your nail with a white base. Put a drop of different shades of nail paint on a piece of paper. Take a small nail art brush, dab it in the colour and paint stripes diagonally across your nails. In order to dry the stripes, apply a top coat of quick dry nail paint. Put a striping tape down the middle of each diagonal line. Then apply a coat of white polish over the top coat. Take tweezers to remove the tape while the polish is still wet. Finish off with a matte top coat so that the stripes aren’t smudged. Clean up your cuticles after that.
- Reverse French Tip
Start with a base coat which protects your nails from becoming stained or brittle. After that take any metallic shade and apply two coats. Pick up a second colour, preferably a contrasting shade and apply it down the centre of your nails. Apply two more coats on the side so that the colours reach the ends of the nail bed. Apply a glossy top coat to finish off.
- Grade-A Gradient
Although this one looks tough to do, you may still do it. Apply a light color on your nails. Then pour the lighter colour and a dark colour side by side. Swirl them with a toothpick where the two colours meet. Dab a sponge on the paint and then dab it on your nails with a slow up and down movement.
- Fishnet style nail art
Paint your nails with a single color. Let it dry. Take a loofah and hold a part of the net over your nails. Apply another coat of a different colour over it. This loofah acts as the stencil which helps you get a fishnet style nail art with two hue look. Remove the loofah net after the nail paint dries.
