Stardust Award 2016: Who Were the Best Dressed?. . .

Every year we look forward to watching the unending list of Bollywood award ceremonies not only to see who won what, but also to see who turned out to be the showstopper of the evening. Among the list of those ceremonies, Stardust Award is something we look forward to for its star-studded affairs. The show turned 13 this year and no price for guessing, there were a number of Bollywood A-listers present to up the fashion and glam quotient.
Let us step into the judges’ shoe and see who gave a hit and who gave a miss on the fashion quotient.

  1. Priyanka Chopra
Our very own “export to the West”, Priyanka Chopra looked amazingly elegant in her cream coloured long dress accompanied with a black floral print pajama. Her simple hairdo made her and her dress shine through the entire event.

  2. Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline added to the grace of the event with the stunning Yanina Couture dress. Stylized by Tanya Ghavri, she made her dress do most of the talking. Quite naturally, her sense of fashion was highly appreciated.

  3. Sunny Leone
Sunny went green for this year’s Stardust and she rocked the evening with a Rozina Vishram gown. The gown was accentuated with a dramatic black underlay giving the gown a dazzling look. She accessorized her look with Renu Oberoi jewelry and showed a bit of her leg which added to the overall effect.

  4. Kriti Sanon
Definitely a showstopper of the evening, Kriti looked stunning in the sheath tube gown. The gown from Shubhika was sequinned with silver and Kriti completed her look with a side-parted hair, Minerali earrings, a sparkling zigzag ring from Aurelle and a pair of strappy Aldo shoes.

  5. Sonam Kapoor
The ultimate style icon of Bollywood, Sonam Kapoor didn’t disappoint us this time also. She wore a light blue colored outfit designed by Rhea Kapoor. She looked like a princess with the tiara on her head and her visible plunging neckline left everyone jaw-dropped.

  6. Saiyami Kher
Saiyami Kher, lead actress of Mirzya wore a velvet gown from Shantanu and Nikhil. Her look was completed by stylist Ami Patel by keeping her makeup low key and letting her natural curls complement her look.

  7. Varun Dhawan
Our male stars didn’t lag behind in creating fashion statements. Varun Dhawan kept it simple with a grey checkered suit and dark brown formal shoes. For the rest, Varun gave his exuberant personality do the rest of the talking.

  8. Shahrukh Khan
When it’s an award night, can the Baadshah of Bollywood be left behind? Shahrukh Khan, he took the route of the everyday black colored buttoned suit. But it was, as usual, his presence and wit which stole the glances.
