Male Celebs Who Came to Conquer but Disappeared From the Limelight. . .

Becoming an actor in Bollywood and ruling people’s heart is a dream which the youngsters pursue when they come to Mumbai. Some succeed in their effort, while others fail to take advantage of the opportunities that come their way.
Below is the list of the people who looked promising as an actor but failed miserably.

  1. Adhyan Suman
    Everyone had high expectation as he was the son of versatile actor and comedian Shekhar Suman. His debut film was Haal-e-dil in 2008 which bombed at the box office. He acted in a list of box office disasters; his last outing was Heartless which released in 2014. After that nobody heard of him, except during the Hrithik-Kangana controversy.

  2. Fardeen Khan
    Fardeen, son of yesteryear actor Firoz Khan, debuted with Prem Aggan in 1998. He did some good movies like Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Heyy Babyy, No Entry, and many more. He was last seen in Dulha Mil Gaya opposite Sushmita Sen. But he could never become the “Khan” of Bollywood. We don’t see him much these days.

  3. Ruslaan Mumtaz
    He is the son of theatre and TV personality, Anjana Mumtaaz and debuted in MP3- Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar in 2007. He did a number of movies, all of which turned out to be a dud. Now he is not in the limelight anymore.

  4. Dino Morea
    Dino Morea struck gold with the female heart when he debuted with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi in 2009 opposite Twinkle Khanna, Rajesh Khanna’s younger daughter. He sizzled with his then girlfriend Bipasha Basu in Raaz. This was followed by a number of flops as a result of which his career tanked.

  5. Kumar Gaurav
    He debuted with Love Story in 1981 which was a blockbuster. After that, he did a number of movies, none of which could make a mark in his career. His last big screen outing was Kaante in 2002.

  6. Sikander Kher
    Everyone has high expectation from this debutant as he is the son of Anupam and Kiron Kher. But he failed to make a mark with his debut in Woodstock Villa in 2008. All of his later movies equally flopped. He was last seen in Tere Bin Laden 2.

  7. Barun Sobti
    His character in the popular TV show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doonas Arnav Singh Raijada. He went on to test his luck on the big screen. But with his debut film, “Main Aur Mr. Right” failing miserably at the box office, Barun is now not in the limelight.

  8. Imaad Shah
    Imaad Shah, the elder son of Naseeruddin Shah was launched by his father in Yun Hota To Kya Hota in 2006. He later did many movies like Little Zizou, Dil Dosti Etc. He was even cast in Mira Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist in 2013 where he played a character with lots of negative sheds. His last movie was M Cream in 2014 but the movie hasn’t released yet.

  9. Ashmit Patel
    Ashmit Patel, the brother of Amisha Patel, debuted with the movie Inteha in 2003. The movie Murder in 2004 gave him the much-needed spotlight. But his later movies like Fight Club and Dil Diya Hai proved that his career was over. Now he can be spotted in some reality shows.

  10. Mahaakshay Chakraborty
    Better known as Mimo, he is the son of Mithun Chakraborty and made his debut in Jimmy in 2008. The film flopped as well as his other movies except for Haunted which managed to do some profit. Now, he has not been seen in Bollywood anymore.
