8 Movies That Prove Every Underdog Has His Day. . .

First of all, let us understand what underdog means. As a kid, some of us are often told and bullied about not being good in studies, sports, extracurricular activities, and any other activities. We are often told that as we are not good in such activities, we won’t be able to make out much of our lives. But we should also understand that not everyone is a born talented. Well, some of them are but others are just normal, average people who want to make a decent living and are not really concerned about what people might think about their lives.
And here was born the love of the “underdog”- one who accepts that there are people around you who are better than you at some or the other thing, but it should surely not stop you from doing something! This concept is creating more and more love for the cinema with the underdog theme.
So here are some of the movies which you should surely watch if you feel burdened by not being the best and good enough:

    A movie based on the true events which gained success due to amazing theme and story is something you must watch. The little comedy movie followed by the hopes and dreams of the out of place but ambitious Jamaican bobsledding team and their extreme experiences at the Olympics are something which surely inspires you. The movie earned great respect from its viewers.

The movie showcases how this unfortunate jobless mother wins her case against the mighty chemical industry that is destroying the water supply of her hometown.     The famous series of movies Lord of Rings based on a novel depicts the ultimate and serious battle between the good and the evil, somewhere in the middle earth. The movie shows the responsibility of Frodo and his best friend Samwise who are supposed to destroy the ring which is the only stopping point between now and unending armies of dark forces.
  7. The Harry Potter (2001):
    One of the truest underdog stories is that of Harry Potter. Imagine one day out of nowhere you discover yourself to be one of the greatest wizards of all time and the most powerful and darkest wizard is trying to kill you. The movie conquered a lot of hearts and made an imaginary world come real in the life of its viewers. Must watch!
  8. Slumdog Millionaire (2008):
    The movie really needs no description about its theme and story as the name says it all. If you have ever been to India or stays in India, you would probably know how things change right in front of your eyes and you won’t even realize how much you have moved from your dreams.
